Financial Accountant

Location: London (Hybrid working)
Salary: 60,000- 72,000

This role will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, with responsibility for core accounting activities across a group of different businesses. You will be involved in month-end close, reporting, controls and continuous improvement work, with the opportunity to gain broad exposure across all areas of finance within a varied multi-entity environment.

A background in practice, or having trained through practice, is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities.

• Balance sheet reconciliations and ownership of key control accounts.

• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

• Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and audit support.

• Reviewing and improving finance processes and controls.

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

• Providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.

• Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.

• Comfortable working across multiple entities.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Confident communicator and strong team player.
