Department/area description

The Treasury Department is a key area of the company where payments and collections are supervised, as well as cash monitoring for the whole Group takes place. We are seeking a Senior Treasury Specialist to join our treasury team in London. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of treasury operations, including cash control, payment processes, supplier coordination, banking relationships and reporting. The ideal candidate will be analytical, structured, and comfortable collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

Your day-to-day in the team
  • Invoice Validation & Payment Readiness: Review and validate invoices recorded in Navision/Business Central prior to payment. Ensure accuracy across accounting entries before scheduling payments.
  • Payment Preparation: Prepare and send validated payment batches and documentation to the Treasury Team.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Lead regular meetings with internal departments and PMs to assess cash needs. Provide visibility on upcoming payments and propose payment dates.
  • Payment Prioritisation & Cash Management: Evaluate payment priorities based on urgency, liquidity and operational needs. Monitor daily cash position and short-term liquidity forecasts.
  • Debt Control & Reconciliation: Review debt positions in Navision/Business Central and ensure data accuracy. Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with PMs and Accounting.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Participate in meetings with UK banking institutions. Monitor credit facilities, overdrafts, limits and operational requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Communicate payment schedules to suppliers and handle queries related to invoicing or payment status.
  • Bank Balance Monitoring: Oversee daily bank balances and transactions. Review bank reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Payment & Collection Management: Plan, programme and prioritise payments according to deadlines and cash flow. Track outstanding receivables and coordinate follow-up.
  • Banking Documentation: Manage guarantees, letters of credit and required banking documentation. Maintain and update bank authorisations.
  • Audit Collaboration: Provide treasury-related documentation and explanations for internal and external audits.
  • Treasury Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on cash position, forecasts, payments and debt. Deliver reporting to senior management and the Finance team.
What do we expect from you?

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of payments, reconciliations, banking operations and liquidity management.
  • Experience using Navision/Business Central or similar ERP tools (SAP, D365, Oracle, etc.).
  • Solid command of banking documentation (guarantees, letters of credit, authorisations).
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
  • Languajes: High level of English proficiency (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in environments with multiple entities and international banking is a plus.
