Chief Financial Officer - North Yorkshire

A rare opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and strategically minded Chief Financial Officer to join a national organisation undergoing a period of exciting transformation and growth. operating between commercial delivery and innovation. This organisation plays a key role nationwide, across business, and government. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, shaping and delivering the financial and operational strategies that underpin its mission and long-term success.

The role encompasses full financial leadership - from governance and control to strategic development and growth planning - alongside oversight of key operational functions including IT, HR, and legal. A central focus will be on building a high-performing team, embedding scalable systems, and ensuring robust financial and operational frameworks.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within organisations combining commercial income with publicly funded experience or complex stakeholder environments. Candidates will bring strong systems knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence across diverse internal and external partners.
