Finance Assistant

CMA is partnering with our Bournemouth-based software and IT client to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. This is a varied role within a friendly and collaborative finance team, supporting a £20m turnover business during a busy period. The position offers an immediate start and the chance to work across several key finance areas, including banking, payments, expenses and payroll.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

• Process credit cards, staff expenses, daily banking tasks and support treasury administration.
• Assist with supplier management, handling queries and ensuring smooth processing of invoices and payments;
• Prepare payment runs and support short-term cash flow forecasting;
• Contribute to UK and overseas payroll tasks across monthly and bi-weekly cycles using a bespoke payroll system;

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Previous experience with end-to-end payroll is desirable and beneficial;
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams;
• Strong organisational skills and accuracy when handling reconciliations and processes;
• Ability to start immediately and commit to a temporary assignment.
