This organization is at an exciting juncture, with this key project utilizing their products in a specific way and then distributing them globally across Europe, South America, India, the UK, and China.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they are now seeking a proactive and idea-generating candidate to alleviate pressure on the Head of Commercial Finance and contribute to operational success.

What the Finance Business Partner job involves

You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance, focusing on operational reporting and business partnering for a globally based commercial team.

• Acting as the right-hand person to the Head of Commercial Finance, taking ownership of operational reporting responsibilities.
• Analysing and explaining operational variances to provide insightful commentary.
• Managing all aspects of management accounting for the commercial team.
• Preparing comprehensive data and presentations to support the Head of Commercial Finance.
• Business partnering with the commercial team, offering expertise in business planning and costing support.
• Providing valuable advice on product and service offerings.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of a team, managing multiple priorities, and providing excellent financial and strategic support.

Skills required

We are seeking a proactive and hungry individual, eager for a challenge and able to seamlessly integrate into a young team dynamic. Ideal candidates will have:

• Full qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) is essential.
• A strong level of proficiency in Excel.
• Essential PowerPoint skills for presentation preparation.
• Proven commercial industry experience in operational reporting.
• Experience with multicultural stakeholders or a demonstrable openness to working with diverse teams.
• A meticulous approach to spreadsheet management, ensuring cleanliness and order.

Other information

• Salary range of £70,000 to £75,000 per annum.
• 37.5 contracted hours per week.
• Hybrid working available
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• 15% employer pension contributions.
• 20% discretionary completion bonus for the 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Private BUPA healthcare for the individual.
• The initial 12-month fixed-term contract has the potential to become permanent based on funding.
