Accounts Payable Assistant

Candour Talent are recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant for their client based in Ebbw Vale.

• Salary: Up to 30k NEG DOE

Our client based in Ebbw Vale is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. The business is going through a sustained period of investment and there are long-term development opportunities for the right candidate. This role comes with AAT study support for and a company pension.

The Role:

• Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end accounts payable reporting.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and records.
• Liaise with internal teams to validate invoice details.
• Support ad-hoc finance and administrative projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration
• Strong numerical, organisational, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail
• Good communicator and team player, but also able to work independently.
• Motivated to develop professionally
