Commercial Finance Manager

The Commercial Finance Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, providing strategic insights to support decision-making within the senor leadership team. This role is based in Gloucester on a hybrid basis.

Our client is currently hiring for a newly created Commercial Finance Manager to join their Gloucester based finance team on a permanent basis.

The Commercial Finance Manager will have the below responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the accounting and finance department, with a focus on commercial income streams.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
• Analyse financial performance and present reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
• Take ownership of the CAPEX cycle.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and tools as needed.

The successful candidate for the Commercial Finance Manager should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance, experience in the construction industry is beneficial.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and the use of financial systems.
• The ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
