Pricing Actuary

Are you a qualified actuary with experience in bulk annuity pricing or DB pensions? Would you like to join a fast-growing, purpose-led organisation making a real impact in the retirement space?

An award-winning financial services provider is expanding its Defined Benefit (DB) team and seeking a DB Pricing Actuary to support the delivery of competitive, high-quality bulk annuity solutions.

What you'll be doing:

• Producing and reviewing accurate and timely new business quotations for DB pension schemes.

• Leading and managing pricing projects across the bulk annuity pipeline.

• Collaborating with internal reinsurance and commercial teams to shape market-leading propositions.

• Coaching and mentoring junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

• Enhancing pricing tools, models, and operational processes to drive efficiency and innovation.

What we're looking for:

• FIA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong academic background (ideally 2:1+ in a numerical discipline).

• Solid experience in bulk annuities, DB pensions, life insurance, or a related actuarial field.

• Strong understanding of actuarial pricing principles and modelling techniques.

• Comfortable with tools such as Excel, Python, Julia, or VBA - or eager to learn.

• A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
