Paraplanner

This Paraplanner job in Ongar provides opportunity to join a well-established local financial planning firm

You will be directly supporting the lead Financial Advisor alongside a few other support staff undertaking administrative duties. As the Paraplanner you will be focused on assisting the Advisor through undertaking excellent research and report writing to deliver quality service to clients.

The client bank consists of numerous business owners, as such their business mix includes corporate investments, inheritance tax planning, pension transfers, business relief investments, life insurances, bonds, venture capital trusts etc. In addition, the business utilises cashflow modelling for clients

Our client has plans to grow their client bank and headcount and view the Paraplanner as a potential senior hire, as such there could be progression towards helping to mentor other team members in due course. The business would also be open to you having potential long-term progression into advice

As the business is in a key new chapter, they would be looking for you to be working alongside the Director in the office 4 days per week

Paraplanner Requirements

• You should be an experienced Paraplanner
• Individuals working towards or attained Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning would be preferable
• You should be comfortable working within a small team that has ambitions to grow

Paraplanner Benefits

• Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
• Typically, 4 - 5 days per week from their office (potential for 1 day from home)
• Support towards professional development through qualifications and additional training
