Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have a background in commercial payments or payment investigations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic Customer Services Team within the Operations Department as a Payments Associate.

About the Role:

As a Payments Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our corporate customers receive a first-class level of service while managing a diverse range of payment-related inquiries. You will act as a central point of contact not only for our customers but also for internal stakeholders, including Front and Middle Office Teams, as well as other back-office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough investigations into account and payment issues, including claims of non-receipt, application difficulties, and referrals related to sanctions and fraud.
• Reviewing outstanding Nostro Breaks and determining appropriate next steps to ensure their timely resolution.
• Executing daily Cash Pooling operations for our customers across the EMEA region.
• Processing various retail banking products such as cheque payments, standing orders, direct debits, and BACS transactions.
• Producing audit letters on behalf of our customers.
• Managing tasks related to RMA Administration.
• Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products, services, and IT builds to enhance our offerings.

What You Bring to the Role:

To succeed as a Payments Associate, you should possess:

• A solid background in commercial payments or payment investigations.
• A genuine passion for customer service and the ability to deliver it through various communication channels, including phone and email.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
• The capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
