Job Description
  • Accurately process payroll for employees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legislation.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including tax and benefits information.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and provide support to employees as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports and summaries for management review.
  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes where necessary.
  • Support audits related to payroll and employee compensation.
  • Supporting across finance and HR where required.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting and finance software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Local to Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
  • Available to commute to our client's office 5 days per week.
