Description

• Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Review and improve financial processes and controls.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address financial queries.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.

Profile

A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA trained)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in consolidation and compliance.
• Experience within the Energy sector is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a large organisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
