Context of the RoleThe role offers the opportunity to work within a highly experienced team with a large portfolio of clients. You will be empowered to make underwriting decisions with considerable underwriting authority and corresponding responsibility and accountability. What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an energetic, forward-thinking team player with experience in property insurance/reinsurance underwriting. You will enjoy working in collaborative teams, have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and will thrive in the environment of client interaction.
Participating in branch planning in support of department goals, utilising diagnostic reports to provide insights to colleagues, and maintaining effective information sharing with property facultative colleagues and other corporate departments. Adhering to established processing protocols, contributing to continuous improvement of departmental processes, and coordinating, participating in and leading various special projects for the branch.
