The Opportunity You ll work closely with Financial Advisers to conduct research, analyse client needs, and prepare high-quality financial planning reports.
This role involves producing detailed suitability reports, formulating recommendations, and ensuring all advice meets internal and regulatory standards.
Candidates must have experience within an IFA environment and should be working toward or already hold the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with long-term support provided to progress toward Chartered status.
Key Responsibilities Paraplanning Duties
  • Gather and analyse information on clients existing financial arrangements
  • Conduct gap analysis and prepare strategy reports aligned to client goals
  • Research the market to identify suitable financial planning solutions
  • Write clear, compliant, plain-English suitability reports
  • Prepare research and quotations for client meetings
  • Produce valuations, portfolio commentary, and analysis
  • Liaise with advisers, providers, and clients throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate client records and back-office system updates
  • Assist with compliant submission of new business
  • Follow internal processes, workflows, and FCA requirements
  • Contribute to best practice across the paraplanning team
  • Participate in training, development, and exam study programmes
