Corporate Finance and Development Lead

Join a growing scale-up company in Europe and lead the Corporate Development, Strategic Finance and M&A function.

The company is growing quickly and is looking for someone with good Corporate Finance, M&A and Investment Management experience to join the senior leadership team and lead M&A and Investment end-to-end.

The right candidate will work on the evaluation of target companies for acquisition and will drive the M&A process and will lead PMI efforts. You will build up KPIs, Metrics and Reporting for acquired entities and will work with senior leadership at Group level to drive the strategy and further investment in portfolio companies.

• Corporate Finance and Investment background e.g. Consulting, Banking, PE or similar (5+ years)
• Experience across all stages of the M&A and investment lifecycle, including Post-Merger Integration projects
• Experience building up Metrics, KPIs and Controls for acquired businesses, including establishing Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting for Group Finance purposes
• Strategic finance project experience e.g. structuring accounting, finance and controlling functions, ERP / FP&A / Business Systems evaluation and selection
• Strong knowledge of controlling, reporting, FP&A processes
• Experience with Corporate Finance and Development on industry-side, in a startup or scale-up environment
• Prior experience in scale-up companies ideally SaaS

This is a key role to lead Investments, M&A and Corporate Development initiatives in a fast-growth startup / scale-up environment.

Location: London or EU countries with regular Travel within Europe
