Accountant Job in Ringwood

Our client based just outside of Ringwood is a growing technology business. They are seeking an Accountant to join their team and take full ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on accountancy, standalone role requiring independence, accuracy, and proactive financial management. You will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role will initially start 3 -4 days per week, however as the role develops, will require full time working hours.

Key Responsibilities as a Accountant:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end close
  • Manage VAT returns and support Corporation Tax processes
  • Oversee payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Support year-end statutory accounts and audits
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain the general ledger and manage month-end close.

About You as an Accountant:

  • Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)
  • 5+ years accounting experience
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

  • Attention to Detail Ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial processes
