Senior Product Manager (Compliance and Operations)

Pockit and Monese are the all-in-one money apps that make it easy for people to access and manage the financial tools that put them in control of their money. We provide vital financial services, from e-money accounts through to income advance products to over three million customers across the UK and Europe. In October 2024, Pockit acquired Monese, creating the leading fintech for anyone who is budgeting, saving, or just trying??????? ???. Both firms are regulated by the FCA.

Following the acquisition of Monese SC the business is on a trajectory of growth as the two organisations harmonise and integrate in both the UK and across Europe.

We are looking for a hands on Senior Product Manager to lead the delivery of complex, regulated fintech products as Pockit and Monese integrate and scale across the UK and Europe. You will take ownership from idea through launch and optimisation, working across engineering, compliance, financial crime, operations, senior stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high impact features in the payments space. This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone experienced in B2C fintech, comfortable managing technical and operational dependencies, and able to communicate complex topics clearly to varied audiences in a fast growing, mission driven organisation.

• Scope, define and prioritise features, coordinating across complex dependencies to go from idea to launch, including post
• Manage external product partners as well as internal stakeholders (including C level) and communication
• Work with the compliance team to ensure ongoing regulatory requirements are met
• Work with the financial crime team to ensure our controls evolve to stay ahead of crime
• Work with operations teams to drive ongoing operational efficiency efforts

• Have shipped at least one complex product before at a B2C start up / scale up
• Demonstrable experience in payments space/fintech
• Demonstrable experience in managing integration projects or products with plenty of technical/operational dependencies
• Demonstrable experience working with compliance, financial crime and operations functions
• Solid project management experience

• Good explainer, you can hold a complex amount of material in your head and communicate to different groups of people differently, with the right level of context and specificity (eg: Execs vs Engineers vs Customers)
• A hands on mentality
• SQL experience or willingness to learn SQL quickly is a must

The primary place of work is Pockit's headquarters in Marylebone, London, where the role will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
