Salary £40,000 - £50,000 plus additional benefits, hybrid-working, study support towards CII qualifications

Cameron James is delighted to be partnering with a leading commercial insurance broker, who due to continued growth are seeking a Senior Commercial Broker to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

As a Senior Broker, you ll play a key role in managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across a range of sectors. You ll provide expert support to account executives and clients alike, ensuring policies are placed correctly, renewals are handled efficiently, and risks are managed with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of commercial clients
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation accurately
• Liaise confidently with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and cover options
• Support account executives with complex or high-value cases
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal quality standards
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services

About You

• You re a confident communicator and trusted adviser who enjoys building lasting relationships. With a keen eye for detail and strong commercial awareness, you can balance client needs with business objectives.

Requirements:

• At least 3 5 years of experience in a commercial account handling role
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance classes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ideally, progress toward or completion of CII qualifications (Cert CII / Dip CII)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
