Our client, based in Warwickshire, is a leading business providing consumer products and services. They are now seeking a Trainee Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in credit management, debtor accounts, and customer account support. Full training will be provided, making this role perfect for candidates eager to develop a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring customer accounts and flag overdue payments.
  • Support the team in sending payment reminders via email and phone.
  • Help resolve basic customer queries related to invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of debtor accounts and assist with reconciliations.
  • Learn to prepare reports on debtor aging and outstanding balances for management.
  • Follow company credit control procedures and comply with relevant policies.
  • Attend training sessions to develop skills in credit management and excel.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • No prior credit control or account experience required full training will be provided.
  • Strong Excel skills & willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and problem solve.
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow processes accurately.
  • Positive, professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
