Description:

My client is specialist payroll provider in Liverpool currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work as part of a fantastic team. You will be responsible for the joint running of 150 client payrolls.

Responsibilities

  • Full end to end Payroll processing for a portfolio of clients within an accountancy firm
  • Collation and input of all relevant information
  • New starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, allowances, maternity, apprentice levy and paternity pay
  • To administer SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, P60s
  • NI, overtime and other deductions
  • RTI submissions
  • Auto enrolment
  • Pension deductions
  • Handling queries
  • Year end process's
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with reporting, compliance tasks, and ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Payroll experience in a client payroll environment
  • Strong Legislation knowledge
  • Pension & Auto enrolment experience
  • Excel including V look up
  • Brightpay experience beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Manual calculation ability
  • Familiar with confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Benefits and information

  • 25,000 to 27,000, dependent on experience
  • Hours : 35 per week 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) Lunch : 1 hour
  • Annual leave : 20 days plus bank holidays
