SF is currently working with an organisation based in Derbyshire who are looking to add an Interim Management Accountant to the team for a period of 6 months. This is a challenging opportunity for a self-starting, experienced and accountant who can hit the ground running.
Some of the key day to day responsibilities will include:
- Manage and support a team of 5 - Group Cash Management - Weekly cash reporting and reconciliation Weekly update to rolling Cashflow forecast, reviewing and consolidating multiple inputs (Commercial, Sourcing, Foreign subs) - Management of ABL facilities - Reporting, drawdowns, Invoice loads and administration - Manage ABL security audits. - Annual Banking Facility Renewal - Financial Accounting: - Weekly Activities - DD Forecast - Invoice Approvals - Month End Activities - Accruals/ Prepayments - Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Intercompany Reconciliations - Variance Analysis - Year End activities - Interest Payment (DPIL) - Annual external audit - VAT Return preparation and submission (Quarterly) - Finance Project work and other ad-hoc requests from time to time.
My client is looking for a Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or someone that is qualified by experience. Some of the other requirements include:
- Experienced Accountant (QBE or formally qualified) - Essential Experience: - 13 Week Cashflow forecasting and management in a cash constrained environment. - HMRC Management - VAT Returns etc - Financial accounting - Month End, Year End - Audit Management & Support - Desirable Experience: - Team Management - Asset Based Lending Facility Management - Multi-tasking & time management skills - Strong, professional inter-personable skills - High-level of personal resilience - High-level of excel competency - Complex formulas, Macros not essential. - Oracle ERP desirable but not essential.
