Practice Bookkeeper

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-established independent accountancy practice in Ramsgate who are looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, friendly firm in a varied, client-focused role.

• This is a an all-round bookkeeping position with responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support clients with software, and help maintain accurate financial records.
  

• Full bookkeeping duties for multiple clients
  
• Preparing accounts up to trial balance
  
• Completing VAT returns and CIS submissions
  
• Supporting clients with software
  
• Providing client-facing support and guidance
  
• Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service
  

• Experience within an accountancy practice (ideal)
  
• Strong bookkeeping skills with excellent accuracy
  
• Competent user of Quickbooks or Xero
  
• Confident communicator and comfortable in a client-facing role
  
• Able to work independently within a small, supportive office
  

• Salary up to 30,000 (experience-dependent)
