Accounts Assistant

This is a hands-on Accounts Assistant role with a strong focus on the purchase ledger, offering exposure to Sage, a brand-new SIMPRO system, and the chance to support a busy, evolving finance team. Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger

Edenbridge - Hybrid

£28,000 - £35,000 + benefits Full-time, 8:30 5:00

Key responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices in Sage & SIMPRO
• Reconcile statements, run monthly creditor reports, prepare supplier payments
• Manage sales invoices, customer statements, and chase payments
• Set up new customers and complete credit checks
• Support vehicle admin (MOTs, road tax, fuel cards)
• Provide cover for payroll, remittances, and CFO support during leave

You ll need:

• Experience in an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger role
• Strong knowledge of Sage
• Exposure to SIMPRO advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work as part of a team
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
