Overview

Join our Global Facultative team at Gallagher Re as a Senior Broker Support Specialist in London! You'll be a key part of the team, managing a team of broker support professionals, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and continuous improvement alongside working on your own portfolio of work while supporting brokers with their daily activities. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Broker Support experience working on property or casualty lines of business. How you'll make an impact

In this role, you'll help brokers deliver exceptional service by managing contracts, renewals, and client communications. You'll ensure compliance with regulations, oversee onboarding processes, and maintain accurate records. Working closely with brokers and internal teams, you'll resolve client queries, manage data, and ensure smooth workflows. Your efforts will directly contribute to building strong client relationships and maintaining operational excellence.

Here's a snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Lead a team of broker support professionals to deliver efficient and effective operational support.
  • Oversee the creation and management of compliant contracts, client onboarding, and data controls.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new team members to ensure they're set up for success.
  • Collaborate with servicing, claims, and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Manage your own portfolio of work creating and managing contracts, wordings, and endorsements.
  • Handle client onboarding, including KYC activities and documentation.
  • Collaborate with brokers to manage client data and ensure compliance.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
About You
  • Experience in the re/insurance industry, ideally in broking operations or technical processing within property or casualty lines of business.
  • Proven experience in leading a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to explain complex issues clearly and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to learning, teamwork, and delivering excellent service.
