Personal Tax Semi Senior (Part Time)

Oxfordshire area 2 days per week

A well-established and friendly accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Consultant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a qualified tax professional who enjoys client interaction and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

You ll be working autonomously, handling a portfolio of personal tax clients, and using your knowledge to provide expert advice and accurate tax return preparation.

• Prepare and manage approximately 160 personal tax returns annually

• Respond to client tax queries clearly and professionally

• Provide proactive tax planning advice

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance in all work

• Liaise directly with clients and build trusted working relationships

• ATT qualified (or equivalent), or former HMRC background in personal tax

• Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice

• Excellent knowledge of UK personal tax legislation

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

• Experience with CGT computations and trust returns

• Exposure to both personal and corporate tax

• Familiarity with systems such as IRIS, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
