Finance Accounts Administrator

IntaPeople are currently representing a Financial Services client based in South Wales who are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced financial accounts administrator. You will have a good general understanding of basic accounting principles whilst having the ability to work alone or within a small finance team. Working closely with the Finance Director your core responsibilities will be to assist with general day-to-day accounts/finance admin duties within a fast paced environment.

We re looking for candidates who have experience in:

• Proven experience within a accounts admin, finance admin or similar role
• At least 2+ years experience of working experience within this sector
• Experience using Excel
• Experience using accounting software tools such as Xero, Quickbooks or Sage
• The ability to work under fast paced, pressured environments
• Experience with VAT returns and the Microsoft Office package is desirable

Joining this small finance function, you ll be responsible for:

• Working closely with senior management and business directors
• Day-to-day accounts administration
• Working with accounting software tools such as software Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
• Locating and organising purchase invoices and receipts
• Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Running weekly and monthly reports for sales invoicing and self-billing
• Ensuring timely payments to affiliates and suppliers
• Reconciling payments received from affiliates
• Acting as a finance POC for internal and external clients
• Managing bank transactions
• Assisting with monthly reporting to agreed timeframes
• Assisting with VAT returns across the group of businesses

Role at a glance:

• Accounts/Finance Administrator - Full time 40hours per week
• Bridgend Office based
• Starting salary between £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
