Finance Administrator - Credit Control

Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a dynamic and growing business who are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator / Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team based in Telford. This position will start on a temporary basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate

Your new role
You will work within the Finance team and working closely with the senior credit controller with duties including:

• Processing bank receipts to the Sage accounting system in a timely and organised manner.
• Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email, maintaining accurate notes of correspondence
• Managing and resolving customer queries, to include liaising with internal departments where necessary to investigate and resolve in a timely and organised manner to ensure customer satisfaction with service.
• Raising customer invoices, including checking nominal codes, to the Sage accounting system.
• Raising customer credit notes, including checking nominal codes, to the Sage accounting system.
• Updating internal Information Management System (IMS) with Sage invoice numbers
• Saving customer invoices accurately within shared project folders.
• Assist with Audit requests.
• Assist with any ad-hoc requests and tasks.
