Description

• Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of transactions and financial documents.
• Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding invoice queries.
• Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Provide assistance in month-end closing processes.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving discrepancies.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• An understanding of financial processes and regulations.
