Financial Accountant

Our client is undertaking a major finance transformation and is seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join their centralised team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a Financial Accountant who wants to move beyond routine reporting and play a visible role in shaping best-in-class asset accounting processes. • Lead Fixed & Lease Asset accounting for a designated business area

• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and accurate reporting

• Manage asset registers including additions, disposals and depreciation

• Oversee lease accounting (IFRS 16) and support system enhancements

• Drive process improvement across asset accounting activities

• Qualified/part qualified/QBE

• Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Assets and lease accounting

• Experience operating in complex or multi-entity environments

• Confident using ERP systems (SAP, IFS, NAV, BPC or similar)

• Proactive, adaptable and confident engaging senior stakeholders

• Fully remote with occasional travel to the Portsmouth Office

• Exposure to a large-scale finance transformation programme
