Financial Reporting Accountant

An International professional services organisation based in Southampton are seeking to recruit an accountant on a permanent basis. The role has come about due to increased workload in the team as a result of new clients being secured.

Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients that range from SME's and Owner Managed businesses to large multi-national groups you will provide a range of solutions that include accounting and compliance services.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

• Managing client assignments to include determining resource requirements and monitoring progress against budget
• Build long term sustainable and commercial relationships with clients
• Manage the overall team on a day-to-day basis
• Support the team to deliver a variety of services to the client base including management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, year-end accounts and statutory reporting

• Knowledge of Audit would be desirable.

Key Skills/Experience of the Senior Finance Manager include:

• Fully qualified Accountant, or close to qualifying. (ACA/ACCA)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks or Xero
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102

The client are offering hybrid office/home working and are also able to consider part-time hours. A generous hybris arrangement is also on offer.
