Finance Officer

Keyhaven Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Officer to support the effective financial management of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial skills who is looking for a part-time role within a supportive office-based team.

Responsibilities include:

Management of KYC accounting system and Sailing Club Manager database for the preparation of timely monthly management and year end accounts.

Manage and run weekly and monthly payroll.

Prepare monthly accounts and quarterly VAT returns.

Produce timely year end accounts to submit to company auditors.

Fully manage annual subscriptions including the dinghy park.

Maintain fixed asset register.

Management of day-to-day financial activities relating to Sail Club Manager especially relating to memberships.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a finance role with computerized accounts systems and an in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft programs. The candidate will hold an AAT Level 4 (minimum) as well as having strong communication, numerical and organisational skills. A sound knowledge of current accounting practices and extensive analytical skills is highly desirable.

Part-time hours: 15 per week (3 x 5 hour days, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday)

Salary: Pro rata £14,615 per annum
