Credit Controller

Working closely with the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you ll take full ownership of your ledger, building strong B2B relationships while ensuring payments are collected efficiently and professionally.

You ll play a key role in protecting cash flow, reducing aged debt, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

• Managing outstanding balances and ensuring payments are collected within agreed terms

• Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and other communication methods

• Building strong, professional relationships with key B2B customers

• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and disputes

• Working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy

• Producing and analysing aged debtor reports

• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date account records

• At least 3 years experience in B2B credit control

• A proven track record of reducing debtor days and improving cash flow

• Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to handle challenging conversations

• Personable, Friendly and Enthusiastic

• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability

• High attention to detail and strong IT skills
