Interim Tax Accountant

This role requires a skilled Interim Tax Accountant to support the team with tax compliance and reporting. The position is temporary and based in Andover, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

• Prepare draft tax reporting for all legal entities in line with HMRC legislation.
• Advise on tax planning strategies to optimise financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to address tax-related queries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws relevant to the insurance industry.
• Assist in audits and liaise with external tax authorities as required.
• Identify and mitigate potential tax risks.
• Support the implementation of tax-related processes and improvements.

Profile

A successful Interim Tax Accountant should have:

• A strong background in tax accounting
• Good knowledge of VAT, CT, Direct and Indirect taxation
• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance or tax.
• Proficiency in tax compliance and reporting standards (UKGAAP).
• Ability to work effectively in a temporary role and meet deadlines.
• Experience in liaising with tax authorities and managing audits.
• Knowledge of accounting software and tax regulations.

Job Offer

• Daily rate of GBP 350 to GBP 450.
• Andover / Hybrid - from 1 day a week in the office
