Senior Management Accountant

Superb opportunity to join an established manufacturing business at a time of growth and development, working very closely with the CFO to provide the commercial insight that the Board needs in order to achieve the projected growth over the next 2 years. Duties will include:-

Responsibility of the Senior Management Accountant Role:-

• Assess costs to determine total costs of operations
• Budgeting & Forecasting - creating and monitoring budgets and forecasting financial performance.
• Financial Reporting - prepare detailed financial reports and variance analysis
• Working closely with departments across the Group to align financial strategy and company goals
• Analyse the KPI's such as cost and variance analysis, budgetary accuracy, profit ratios and effective financial reporting
• Production of detailed monthly management accounts and commentary
• Assist with an ERP systems implementation

Requirements of the Senior Management Accountant Role:-

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a proven track record as a Management Accountant with a strong analytical bias
• Advanced Excel skills to include power BI, Xlookups,Vlookups, pivots etc
• Ability to analyse and reduce lines of data into meaningful information
• First rate all round financial and management accounting skills
