Manufacturing Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Alfreton with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role will play a key part in supporting manufacturing operations through accurate costing, variance analysis and month-end processes, working closely with operational, planning and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership and maintenance of cost data
• Validation of standard costs for new and existing products
• Support with monthly management accounts for operational sites
• SAP production month-end close across manufacturing plants
• Analysis of standard vs actual BOM variances and corrective actions
• Forecasting and tracking of raw material purchases
• Financial support for strategic projects

About You:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• SAP experience advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
