Finance Manager (Part-Time)

South Manchester

£45,000 - £50,000 (Full-Time Equivalent)

Circa 30 hours per week (3-4 days)

A growing SME based in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Part-Time Finance Manager to take ownership of a standalone finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working autonomously within a dynamic and expanding business.

Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the full finance cycle, including:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Purchase and sales ledger management
• Internal payroll reporting
• Stock control management
• Oversight of purchase orders

We are looking for a bright, articulate finance professional who can work independently and add value in a growing SME environment.

Key requirements:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified
• Broad, hands-on finance experience
• Previous experience within an SME environment preferred
• Experience using Xero accounting software
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative
