Management Accountant

Butler Rose has been appointed to recruit a Management Accountant on behalf of a growing business based in Bridgwater.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys combining robust financial reporting with meaningful commercial insight. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller providing clear analysis and actionable recommendations to help shape business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Variance analysis
• Produce weekly performance dashboards covering occupancy, rates, revenue, and operational KPIs
• Support preparation of board packs, delivering accurate, timely, and well-explained financial data
• Provide insightful commentary on financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
• Deliver high-quality management accounting and reporting outputs
• Provide commercial insights.

The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent). A confident communicator able to present financial information clearly. You will have strong Excel skills and experience and be proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented
