Senior Financial Accountant

Equifind is supporting a high-growth international investment firm, to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their London team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a technically strong, practice-trained accountant to step into a broad, hands-on role covering group reporting, consolidations, and a major year-end cycleall while working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team.

If you enjoy fast-paced environments, complex entities, and taking full ownership of financial reporting, this will be a great fit.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning monthly Group management accounts and financial reporting packs
• Preparing and reviewing Group consolidations
• Leading the year-end statutory accounts process across several international entities
• Acting as the main audit lead, managing relationships, audit files, and timelines
• Producing monthly P&Ls vs budget, forecasting, and analysis
• Overseeing VAT reporting and supporting Group tax work
• Strengthening financial controls and driving continuous improvements
• Ad hoc technical and audit-related tasks for the CFO

About the Business:

A global investment firm headquartered in London with operations across several jurisdictions.

You'll be joining a collaborative, medium-sized finance function during a key reporting period, working directly with the CFO. Expect exposure, pace, and the chance to take full ownership of critical deliverables.

• Hybrid: 4 days in office
• Occasional travel every few months

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA) with 3+ years' PQE
• Strong technical experience across IFRS, UK GAAP, or US GAAP
• Background in financial reporting, statutory accounts, consolidations
• Proven experience leading audits
• Experience with NetSuite is beneficial
• Exposure to private equity, investment, or asset management environments is desirable

Contract & Salary

• Minimum 18-Month FTC, potential to be extended
• £70-75k pro rata, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP, however will consider candidates on and up to 2 weeks' notice if you are the right fit
