I'm delighted to be exclusively partnering once again with this ambitious and highly respected organisation (c£500m turnover) to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant on a 16-month fixed term contract.

• This is not a "turn the handle" reporting role.
• This is a position for someone who wants to understand what drives the numbers - not just produce them.

The Role:

You will:

• Own operational cost reporting and deliver meaningful variance analysis
• Partner closely with Cost Centre Managers and senior stakeholders
• Lead conversations around cost drivers and performance improvement
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Deliver clear, concise financial insight via Excel and PowerPoint
• Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
• You will be expected to challenge, probe and add value - not simply circulate reports.
• This is a role where you influence decisions and improve performance.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (part-qualified, qualified)
• Advanced Excel skills (confident analysing large data sets)
• Strong PowerPoint capability - able to present clear commercial narratives
• Confident partnering with cost centre managers
• Curious, commercially minded and proactive
• Comfortable discussing cost drivers and operational performance
