THE ROLE 90% audit, 10% accounts and advisory. Run your own client audits, manage juniors, and have genuine client contact. No layers of hierarchy. No micromanagement. Just great work with interesting people.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

• Lead audit engagements across diverse sectors (tech, property, cosmetics, vineyards, charities)
• Review and prepare year-end accounts (limited companies, partnerships, charities)
• Supervise and mentor juniors on-site and in the office
• Build client relationships and advise on improvements
• Prepare basic corporate and personal tax computations (tax team supports on complex stuff)
• Support Managers and Directors on planning, reviews, and reporting
• Occasionally work on ad hoc projects: forecasting, cash flows, due diligence

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
• Proven experience running audits independently in UK practice
• Confident preparing accounts and supporting junior staff
• Excellent communication skills - you actually enjoy talking to clients
• Tech-savvy with CCH, Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks knowledge
• Positive, proactive, and want to grow without sacrificing your life
