Description

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee and maintain accurate ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and principles.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Experience in the life science industry is advantageous but not essential.
