• Location: Leatherhead (office until end of March/ April 2026, then WFH with travel to Essex twice/month)
• Job Type: Full-time- 37.5 hours - Fixed term contract
• Salary/Benefits: C£55,000- £60,000

Join a global leader in specialty hydrocarbons and chemicals operating across Mobility, Life Science, Industrial, and Energy markets with a turnover of 400m. We are seeking a dynamic Business Accountant & Treasury Business Partner to join our UK finance team of eight. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across finance, business partnering, and treasury in a fast-moving environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the weekly cash forecasting process, partnering with the Finance Manager and business units to deliver accurate liquidity insights.
• Improve, automate, and develop forecasting models aligned to commodity price movements.
• Provide UK liquidity reporting to Group Treasury and challenge stakeholders where needed.
• Support month-end close, including fixed asset management, variance analysis, G/L postings, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting to Group via Tagetik.
• Coordinate annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including UK fixed cost planning and Group submissions.
• Assist with year-end audits, statutory accounts preparation, and ongoing auditor queries.
• Support GL maintenance, develop SAP knowledge, and work closely with operational teams across UK sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in liquidity forecasting, financial/management accounting, and IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence at all levels.
• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP preferred.
• Background in costing and GL accounting within a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
• Proactive, resilient, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
