Description

• Prepare and manage accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit requirements.
• Analyse financial data to support business decision-making.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Experience working within the Transport & Distribution industry or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach and attention to detail.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
