Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior on behalf of a respected and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Grimsby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career, contributing to high-quality client service while supporting junior team members. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day client accounting tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Prepare accounts, tax, VAT and PAYE documentation for HMRC
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and legal requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collect and review client documentation in a timely manner
  • Record chargeable time accurately and support billing recovery
  • Organise workload to ensure timely delivery and readiness for review

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or actively studying
  • Confident using cloud-based systems, especially Xero
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Dependable, collaborative work ethic
  • Customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence
