Management Accountant - Property Estate Nr London Bridge Full Time PermanentAn established property organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its on-site estate team near London Bridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with property accounting experience to play a key role in the financial management of a large, mixed-use estate.Working closely with the Estate Director and wider estate management team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the overall financial performance of the estate.The Portfolio The estate includes a large mixed-use portfolio comprising:

• A range of commercial units
• Several hundred residential tenancies across AST and statutory agreements
• A substantial number of ground rent leases, alongside additional licences

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for both internal stakeholders and client reporting
• Manage tax reporting and HMRC submissions including CIS, VAT and NRL
• Attend client meetings and present on financial performance
• Produce variance analysis against budgets with clear explanations
• Ensure timely and accurate rent raising and additional charges
• Oversee rental income distribution and cash balance controls
• Maintain financial records in an audit-ready state and lead on financial audits when required
• Assist with cash postings, reconciliations and credit control
• Review expenditure postings including prepayments and accruals
• Maintain and update lease and licence data within accounting systems
• Support the preparation of the estate's annual budget and quarterly reconciliations
• Provide line management and support to an Accounts Assistant
• Work collaboratively with the wider estate team including surveyors, FM teams, credit control, purchase ledger and treasury
• Respond confidently to tenant and client financial queries

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience producing client-facing financial reports
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills

• Experience as a Management Accountant or Client Accountant, ideally within property, real estate or estate management
• Experience working in a property management or agency environment
• Previous team leadership or line management experience
