Senior Group Financial Accountant

Distinct is working with a large, successful business based in Leeds with a global footprint, that is continuing to grow internationally. They are looking to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join it's growing group finance team.This role is suited to a technically strong, chartered accountant ideally from a practice background.You'll be joining a collaborative and dynamic team in a fast-paced group function. The environment suits someone who wants responsibility, clear development, and exposure to varied work.The role:

• This role will involve the delivery of group reporting, which will include:
• Preparing annual statutory and group accounts.
• Responsible for consolidating P&L and cashflows.
• Assist with the preparation of annual statutory group consolidations.
• Review integrity of balance sheet in line with group policies.
• Contribute to delivery of the year-end audit.
• Driving process improvement and supporting group finance projects.

What they're looking for:

• Qualified chartered accountant, ideally from a practice background (ACA / ACCA).
• Exposure to large, complex international organisations would be desirable.
• Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems.
