Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant Verwood upto £40,000 FTE Part time, 25 hours.

As an Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts to trial balance
• Managing day to day cashflow, banking and reconciliations
• Overseeing sales and purchase ledger accuracy and credit control
• Supporting payroll processes and monthly submissions
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure timely invoicing and accurate reporting

As an Assistant Accountant, your experience will include:

• Using SAGE or similar accounting software confidently
• Month end processes including journals, prepayments and accruals
• Managing sales and purchase ledger activity
• Completing reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience within a structured Finance or Accounting role
• Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
