Finance Manager

We have partnered with an established East Kent manufacturing organisation to source an experienced Finance Manager to support financial performance across its operational and supply chain functions. This role combines financial reporting, operational analysis, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering clear insights to senior stakeholders within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will supervise a small team while partnering closely with operational leaders across production, engineering, procurement, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis for operational and senior leadership.
• Provide financial insight on plant investments, procurement, and supply chain activities.
• Generate ad-hoc reports to support business decisions.
• Supervise and develop a small accounting team.
• Collaborate with operations, production, engineering, and procurement to deliver actionable financial analysis.

Skills & Attributes

• Relevant finance qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, able to present financial information to both leadership and shop floor staff.
• Highly organised, independent, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP desirable).
• Prior manufacturing or production finance experience is advantageous.

Package: On offer is a salary of between 60,000 and 70,000 DOE, plus bonus, benefits package and hybrid working.
