Finance Director Salary to £60,000 North Manchester (Agile) Flexible Hours Available

A purpose-driven organisation in North Manchester is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead the organisation s financial strategy, governance, and compliance, ensuring long-term sustainability while supporting operational delivery and strategic growth. You will oversee the finance function, provide high-quality financial insight to senior leadership and the Board, and play a key role in shaping the organisation s future direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and annual budgeting
• Provide financial reporting, forecasts, and analysis to the CEO and Board
• Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and regulatory compliance
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Support strategic decision-making, tenders, and new business opportunities
• Manage audit processes and statutory reporting

About You

• Qualified or Qualified by Experience accountant
• Hands-on with significant experience leading a finance function
• Experience in presenting financial information to senior leadership or boards
• Strong commercial and strategic financial planning skills
• Experience in a charity or similar regulated environment (housing, public sector, education, health, etc.) is desirable
