Developing Paraplanner

The Company: A hugely client-centric, family feel wealth management firm based in Central Leeds who are looking to bring in a Financial Planning Assistant/Developing Paraplanner to further expand their technical support team. As an independent firm with a key specialism in providing advice to clients in receipt of legal settlements, personal injury and medical negligence it's a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to embed themselves in a client-focused, specialist advice business environment.

• Office Location: Central Leeds
• Working Setup: Hybrid - 3-days office & 2-days WFH

Package: £30-34k base DOE + annual bonus & full company benefits

The Role: A research and report writing focused role with surrounding adviser support duties in and around that. This includes:

• Product research
• Paraplanning and suitability report compilation
• Preparing client review pack for client meetings
• Obtaining quotations/valuations
• Dealing with product providers and managing relationships accordingly
• Managing client relationships and being the first point of contact for technical queries as required
• Database management
• Assistance with client business development and marketing materials

The Person: This is an ideal role for someone looking for a genuinely client-centric advice firm where you can be heavily involved in key client/family relationships, as well as being at the forefront of the consultation process and advice being given.

• Are you part-qualified Diploma (CII) and progressing towards Level 4?
• Do you hold strong client skills and are genuinely motivated by fully maximising that end-user experience?
• And Intelligent office (IO) system experience would be perfect; but isn't essential.
